Job Description

The Role

As Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in how the business is perceived by clients, partners, journalists, internal and external peers from a new business, marketing and communications perspective.

You will contribute to, and develop, integrated marketing campaigns for the agency. Assisting the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team, as well as New Business team, to implement the smooth execution of all initiatives across marketing, social media, events, lead generation, PR, pitch preparation and market research. To ensure activity is continually improving and driving forward, the Marketing Executive is required to remain innovative, experimental whilst monitoring ROI of activity, alongside sustaining great relationships with internal departments and ensuring output from teams is consistent and on time.

Marketing Manager


  • Social: Help to ensure all accounts are kept up to date with the relevant content and all BAU tasks are completed on the platform – covering events, social culture, charity, awards, open roles, articles etc. Responsible for proactive management of content, delivery of creative and distribution across our platforms.
  • Internal Comms: Help to communicate messages internally through newsletters, preparing company meeting presentations, MVP, writing agency launch intros and BAU company comms
  • Awards: Support, proof and upload award submissions. Owning responsibility for flagging upcoming awards a month ahead of time and keeping the awards tracker up to date. Owning responsibility for culture awards.
  • Content strategy: Support team in developing content strategy across the agencies – often writing pieces on culture / awards / events and managing blogging calendars where applicable. Under this bracket will be our culture initiatives such as the TIPi Times, Around the Campfire
  • Culture campaigns: Pitch culture campaigns to team (such as Wellness week), plan, write/edit upload and execute content as well as organising any relevant internal social activities.
  • Collateral: Keep collateral tracked and up-to-date – Business cards / Pigs / Totes / USB’s / caps etc. Work with Marketing team and MDs to generate new ideas for and purchase of new collateral, both for TIPi Group & individual agencies.
  • Reporting: Quarterly marketing report to be kept up to date
  • Case studies: Support AM in writing case studies, and ensuring ADs get sign-off from clients for distribution of work.
  • External events: quarterly research into industry events which could add value for lead generation and speaking opportunities for awareness
  • Social competitor research: annual competitor research into social profile management and content for competitors of our agencies
  • Monthly client update: work with HODs to produce monthly update document for client distribution via CS team

Supporting Responsibilities

  • Marketing plan: Work with the Marketing Manager in building and executing a brand-specific marketing plan to deliver high-impact and integrated campaigns to generate leads, sales and market awareness ensuring efforts in Marketing and New Business stay coordinated
  • PR: Work with the team to execute a successful PR strategy across the three agencies including outreach, press release writing, publicising press across social channels and tracking activity
  • Innovation: Devising ‘added extras’ such as extra training / shared learning sessions to ensure clients are made to feel special and valued (e.g. TIPi Academy or Client Surveys)
  • TIPi Academy: support Marketing Manager and team on project management and production of Academy sessions, both in person and online
  • Internal events: Supporting project management of all internal and external events – from operations to presentations to outreach via Kulea to known and unknown audiences
  • New Business: supporting the New Business team with any marketing materials needed for outbound activities.
  • Agency launches: Help support the launch of any further agencies; USP / offering, opportunity assessment, business plan, name & branding, trademarking, brand and marketing assets, press release.
  • Admin: Supporting team on any ad-hoc tasks that need completing

  Nice to have

  • Adobe Skills: Supporting the marketing department in the creation of promotional & designed content

The Candidate

We don’t expect you to know everything on day one, but we really want to see:

  • A passion for the digital industry and a basic understanding of digital marketing
  • Fluent in English, excellent writing skills are a must
  • Equipped with a combination of analytical and marketing skills as well as conceptual, design, logical and marketing creativity
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial, creative and energetic team player. Constantly looks for ways to improve the Marketing functions and is proactive in suggesting operational improvements
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills: ability to motivate and inspire and engage key stakeholders across the organisation to optimise performance
  • High calibre of communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Adaptable, agile minded and keen to learn and develop new skills. A can-do attitude who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to deliver for the business

Location: hybrid working both from home and our buzzing office in Soho

Holidays: 25 days, increasing with length of service, plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off and an additional 10 days ‘work from anywhere in the world’
