Your role

As TIPi Group’s Sales & Marketing Director, you will be generating leads and new business interest for TIPi Group’s range of services and products through effective brand and reputation building through leading marketing and communication strategies internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual sales & marketing plans, create a calendar of campaigns and events, set and administer the annual marketing budget
  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Sales & Marketing activities
  • Effective management of intermediaries and procurement teams where required
  • Drive increased revenue to achieve TIPi Group’s ambitious growth targets, supporting the new business function in lead generationResponsible for innovation and idea generation, as well as identifying key quarterly themes and resulting marketing campaigns
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing activities using pre-determined KPIs, optimising these activities where required for maximum ROI
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • Work across key pitches to ensure theatre and bespoke branding is delivered
  • With the support of the team, run agency PR activity and create and maintain strong relations with media contacts, ensuring targeted industry coverage is achieved
  • Responsible for group internal communications, including monthly presentations, service announcements, proposition shifts and other BAU internal comms as well as driving forward to culture initiatives for the group
  • Oversee the effective management and consolidation of all social channels across the group
  • Support Senior Marketing Executive with case study & awards strategy, meeting regularly with project leaders to asses opportunities to showcase brilliant company work
  • Lead events strategy for TIPi Group, including but not limited to identifying speaking and roundtable opportunities for key agency spokespeople, as well as attending networking events
  • Oversee all other external content –newsletters, whitepapers, website etc.
  • Supported by the Senior Marketing Executive, build and maintain group collateral including marketing materials and an ecosystem of content that supports business insights and target verticals (incl. business cards, templates, pitch decks, intro packs, signatures, insight pieces etc.)
  • Manage and develop Senior Marketing Executive. Ensure they push forward on a day-to-day basis and develop against their wider targets and ambitions.
  • Support Senor Marketing Executive in project management of the group’s recruitment scheme: TIPi Academy

Key skills you hold

  • At least 6 years’ experience as a Sales or Marketing professional, not necessarily at Director level. Experience of marketing and selling services related to digital marketing is desirable
  • Experience of line management or coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills: able to lead, motivate and inspire and engage key stakeholders across the organisation to optimise performance
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing marketing strategies that have directly led to new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Experience with Intermediaries desirable
  • Strong relationships with industry and wider press, within UK marketing, advertising and digital industry
  • High calibre of communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, creative and energetic. Constantly looks for ways to improve the Marketing and PR functions and is proactive in suggesting operational improvements
  • Adaptable, agile minded and keen to learn and develop new skills. Prepared to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to deliver for the business
