Voice Developer

Job Description

The Voice Developer will be responsible for the creation, optimisation and improvement of voice apps (Alexa Skills, Google Actions.). Projects may also extend to text-based platforms (website chat, WhatsApp, Messenger), webpage creation etc.

About Rabbit & Pork

Rabbit & Pork are the Voice Experience arm of TIPi Group. We build brand strategies where voice sits at the heart of the users’ journey.

Our focus on Voice Experience reflects the huge shift in how users are interacting with digital content, requesting information and discovering products.

Responsibilities

Take part in client workshops during the project discovery phase
Help the client understand the possibilities (and constraints) within the current voice landscape in meetings with client and internal meeting
Work closely with our in-house conversation designer to develop products
Prototype and develop Google Actions and Alexa Skills
Develop voice apps
Maintain and develop existing clients voice apps
Maintain and develop new tooling
Documentation of work for future repurposing
Stay up to date with latest technology update in the voice industry
Participate in external presentations and workshops
Contribute to the company blog and social accounts

Skills and experience

To be considered you ideally need to have some (not all) of the following:

Developer with a strong JavaScript background
Experience creating Google Actions and Alexa Skills (ideally submitted and live)
Experience with Alexa Skills Kit (ASK)
Experience with APL
Experience using Jovo voice app framework
Experience using AWS products include S3, Polly, DynamoDB, Lambda functions
Experience using Dialogflow
Integrating voice apps with 3rd party API’s

Working at TIPi Group

Location: Foley Street near Oxford Circus / Remote working
